Marantz M-CR611 finally arrived. News? Packed with Spotify Connect, one extra opitcal & volume regulated analog out (pre-out) and a neat changeable light from the front.

Hooked it up with the passive speakers, tried with the floorstanding speaker Triangle Esprit Gaia (Which I’m reviewing on the sidenote). It actually did an okay job driving the floorstanders, and compared to the M-CR610 it definitely have more control, more detailed.

And now on to the testing with the passive speakers (Paradigm Shift A2) – Which starts out quite well.
