Raidho Acoustics has unveiled the new X2.8, a three-way floorstanding loudspeaker that expands the company’s X Series lineup with a design focused on proprietary driver technology, Danish craftsmanship, and high-end performance.

The Raidho X2.8 features dual 8-inch bass drivers and is specified to reach down to 32 Hz, aiming to deliver deep bass extension, dynamic capability, and room-filling scale while maintaining the speed and precision the brand is known for.
At the top end, the X2.8 utilizes Raidho’s in-house ribbon tweeter. According to Raidho, the moving mass of the ribbon is approximately 50 times lower than that of a conventional dome tweeter, contributing to exceptionally fast transient response and high levels of detail retrieval.

The midrange and bass sections are handled by Raidho’s proprietary aluminium/ceramic drivers, which are designed and manufactured in-house. The driver construction combines rigidity and self-damping characteristics intended to reduce distortion while maintaining accuracy and control throughout the frequency range.
Internally, the X2.8 features a hand-built crossover network utilizing Mundorf components, Nordost internal wiring, and point-to-point connections.

According to Raidho, the X2.8 was developed to combine the authority of a full-range loudspeaker with the speed, transparency, and musical engagement that have become hallmarks of the brand.
“The new X2.8 has turned out way beyond our expectations,” says Morten Kim Nielsen, CEO of Raidho Acoustics. “It has the physical foundation of a serious full-range loudspeaker, but it also carries the speed, transparency, and emotional connection that make Raidho special. To us, this is not just a bigger loudspeaker. It is a statement loudspeaker in the X Series.”

Like other Raidho loudspeakers, the X2.8 is designed and hand-built in Denmark, with the company continuing its philosophy of developing and manufacturing its most critical components in-house rather than relying on off-the-shelf solutions.
