Swedish loudspeaker manufacturer Marten has unveiled the new Dexter Series, a completely new loudspeaker range consisting of four models: Dexter Duo, Dexter Trio, Dexter Quartet and Dexter Quintet.
The new series is designed to bring technologies and design principles developed for Marten’s flagship products into a more accessible segment of the company’s lineup. All four models share a common platform, including a pure diamond tweeter derived from the development of the flagship Coltrane Supreme Extreme, a new triple-layer M-Core cabinet construction, and an all-new bass loading system developed specifically for the Dexter range.

The larger Dexter Quartet and Dexter Quintet are 3-way floorstanding loudspeakers featuring Marten’s ceramic midrange drivers combined with carbon fibre bass drivers. The smaller Dexter Trio and standmount Dexter Duo utilize a ceramic mid/bass driver paired with the same diamond tweeter used throughout the series. All models are designed and built in Sweden and feature internal Jorma Duality wiring.

One of the key technical developments is Marten’s new “Loaded Reflex Line” bass system. According to the company, the design combines elements of traditional bass reflex and transmission line loading through a shaped internal channel and a wide downward-firing slotted port. The goal is deeper bass extension, reduced air turbulence, and greater flexibility when positioning the loudspeakers in a listening room.
The Dexter series will be available in four finishes: True Grain Oak, Piano Walnut, Matte Walnut, and Piano Black. True Grain Oak is a completely new finish for Marten and is exclusive to the Dexter range.
For buyers looking for an even higher specification, Marten will also offer a Statement Edition version of all four models. These feature upgraded crossover components and Jorma Statement internal wiring.

The Dexter series will make its public debut at High End Vienna 2026. Visitors to Marten’s room (Level 1, Room 1.32) will be able to experience both the Dexter Quintet and Dexter Duo in full demonstration for the first time outside the company’s Swedish facility. The Dexter Trio and Dexter Quartet will also be on display.
The demonstration system will feature electronics from Goldmund, including the Telos 800 power amplifiers and Mimesis Excellence preamplifier, together with sources from TechDAS and Innuos.
Dexter Duo – from €20,900 per pair (without stand)
Dexter Trio – from €32,900 per pair
Dexter Quartet – from €42,900 per pair
Dexter Quintet – from €49,900 per pair
Statement Edition upgrades range from €4,900 to €8,900 depending on model.
With the introduction of Dexter, Marten is adding an entirely new family of loudspeakers to its portfolio, positioned below the company’s flagship Coltrane models but incorporating technologies developed from some of the brand’s most ambitious projects to date.
