Audiovector is proud to announce the launch of its flagship loudspeaker, the R 10 Arreté. Showcasing the latest advancements in Audiovector technology, the R 10 delivers an audio experience that is both immersive and truly unique. Debuting at HIGH END Munich 2025, the R 10 will soon be available through Audiovector’s global network of partner distributors.
With over 45 years of experience in crafting state-of-the-art loudspeakers, Audiovector continues to redefine high-performance audio. The new R 10 Arreté stands as the ultimate expression of our dedication to innovation and sound excellence. Designed, engineered, and meticulously hand-built in Denmark, the R 10 is a one-of-a-kind loudspeaker—visually striking and sonically breathtaking. Featuring a suite of next-generation Audiovector innovations, it immerses listeners in music with extraordinary detail, depth, and realism.
“Our ambition was to create something timeless and uncompromising – both in appearance and performance,” says Audiovector CEO Mads Klifoth. “The R 10 has been developed entirely from the ground up. Every single component – from the cabinet to the drive units – has been purpose-designed to deliver the most natural, dynamic, and open sound reproduction we have ever achieved.”
At the heart of the R 10 lies a Dual AMT Tweeter, integrating Audiovector’s Soundstage Enhancement Concept (SEC). This innovative design delivers a treble that is open, precise, and remarkably three-dimensional—allowing music not only to be heard but deeply felt. The primary zero-compression AMT tweeter spans frequencies from 3,000 Hz to 53,000 Hz, while the hyper tweeter extends the response further, from 20,000 Hz to 53,000 Hz—well beyond human hearing. This extended range enhances micro-detail retrieval and ensures extraordinary imaging within the soundstage.
The R 10 features a revolutionary low-frequency array consisting of eight rear-mounted bass drivers. Together, they match the surface area and displacement of a 15-inch woofer, enabling profound bass extension with precise articulation. This innovative design minimizes internal cabinet pressure, producing a fast, powerful, and tightly controlled low-end response.
The R 10 incorporates the unique Accelerated Force Concept (AFC) for its bass/midrange structure. By accelerating and decelerating the drive units with exceptional precision, the AFC ensures lightning-fast transients, ultra-low distortion, and a tactile physical presence in the sound.
A specially developed damping system synchronizes cabinet resonance with energy release, resulting in a calm, composed, and musically engaging performance.
The rear-facing bass line source evenly distributes bass energy throughout the room. Eight long-throw drivers, each offering ±12 mm of linear movement, combine to match the surface area of a 15-inch driver. However, by dividing bass across multiple fast subwoofers, the R 10 achieves enhanced speed and precision. These drivers extend up to 2,000 Hz with a tapered response, while two front-facing upper bass/lower midrange drivers deliver fast, clean performance in the critical lower midrange—the heart of musical dynamics. Together, this system creates a vast, open soundstage with richly engaging bass.
“This outstanding speaker not only surpasses our previous benchmark, the R 8 Arreté, and also marks ten years of close collaboration between my father, Ole, and myself. With a deep love for music and an uncompromising curiosity, we have continuously pushed the boundaries of what is possible. The R 10 is the result of this journey – a culmination, a statement, and a tribute to passion, precision, and family-driven innovation,” continues Mads.
Each Audiovector R 10 is hand-crafted from premium, high-density wood and finished in exquisite options: African Mahogany Crotch Piano, Canadian Birdseye Maple Piano, and Italian Walnut Burl Piano.
